From concrete storage room to mountain bike man cave. Functional and cool? We’ve got you covered
The request - build a work bench for tuning up bikes and convert an existing bike/storage room into something fun and cool. Including: a place to hang 3 mountain bikes, chain link shelving for totes and accessories, a built in towel warmer for drying clothing after a ride, walnut stained slats as a feature wall that also allow more hanging options, and an overall cool vibe contrasting concrete and wood. How did we do??

Storage room rebuild in progress. Bulkheads and ceiling drywall added, potlights installed.

Mountain bike man cave complete! Wood slats custom made out of Baltic birch ply with walnut stain. Concrete left rustic but cleaned and sealed. Potlights added. Bulkhead built to conceal ducts and wiring.
